In the last weekend of November, Brazil participated in the 2006 IGTM, in Marbella (Spain), with great force.
The IGTM (International Golf Travel Market) is the World’s largest and most representative golf tourism fair. Jointly organized by the IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operator) and Reed Exhibitions, the IGTM brings together nearly 1000 companies, between buyers (more than 300 golf sending tourist operators) and suppliers (companies, countries, enterprises, and receptive operators).
In this 2006 edition, besides the pleasant surprise of a Brazilian field having been printed on the cover of IAGTO’S 2007 world directory, Brazil participated with two representatives of EMBRATUR’s Brazilian Bureau of Golf Tourism of Golf, four operators (TAM Viagens, Golf Travel, Team Tours, and Golf Brasil), and the do Fradre Hotel.
Both the Bureau and the operators were extremely busy. Great businesses were made, and the immense potential of the World golf tourism for Brazil could be seen.
The representatives of the Brazilian Bureau of Golf Tourism could schedule appointment with the following operators and media bodies:
Universal Iberia, Travel Celtic Villa & Golf (Spain), Faust Internationale Golfreisen GMBH (Germany), Sudamerikaline & Latino Brás GmbH (Germany), Golfresan (Sweden), Driveline Golf (England), Alpha Golftours (Switzerland), Gotia Golf (Sweden), Gheisa Tour (Spain), Countrywide Golf Holidays (England), InGolf (Portugal), Greens Du Monde (France), Mach 2 Sports Tours & Entertainment GmbH (Germany), World Splendour Holidays Ltd.
