Golf helps prevent problems such as stress and heart diseases

It is difficult to separate sports from the care for one's health. In a certain way, any sport helps stimulate the body and the mind. Golf is no exception. Considered a low impact highly relaxing sport, golf is indicated to all ages.

The main physical activity during the practice of golf is walking. It is estimated that, in a single game, the players walks up to 7,655.29 yards in less than five hours. No doubt it is a great way to oxygenize the blood, which helps the cardiovascular activity, preventing heart problems.

Besides, golf does not demand great muscular explosions. On the contrary: the sport demands concentration and the player's mastery of each movement of his/her body. Specialists recommend it as a good way to combat stress. Without noticing, the golfer also ends up working out parts of the body, such as the abdomen and the pectorals.

As in any sport, golf also demands some care. The main one is stretching out – before and after the games. The articulations of the arms deserve special attention, for they are the most required ones during the games. And, of course, never forget the water! It pays off stopping every now and then for some good hydration.
