PARADISE (SP) RENEWS PUBLIC AREAS AND EXPANDS GOLF
After investing R$ 15 million to expand the number of rooms – which increased from 256 to 416 – and to build a new convention center, the Paradise Golf & Lake Resort, located in Mogi das Cruzes (43,5 miles (70 km) from Sao Paulo) continues investing in renewal. Moreover: by the end of 2010, the resort should count on a new 18-hole golf course.
“We are now restructuring the social areas: the reception will be fully renewed until August and, until the end of this year, the new restaurant should be ready”, according to the resort commercial manager, Nilton Nantes. “The new restaurant will provide differentiated services”, said the sales mangers, Priscila Yumi. Since last year, the resort is not longer managed by the Blue Tree. It is now independent and committed R$ 5 million to the works.
And the Paradise – which has recently changed its name and won a new logo – will launch a new golf course by the end of next year. “The current field is on its limit: it hosts 150 golfers every weekend. They are attracted by the proximity to the city of Sao Paulo and by the outstanding conditions of the field, besides the unparalleled maintenance of the site”, explained Nantes. The new course will be built out of the resort area, but on a land that also belongs to the hotel owner’s family. “This year we will open a 9-hole course and the other part, with additional 9 holes, totaling a professional 18-hole course, will be concluded up to 2010”, the manager explains.
The enterprise’s team should disseminate the novelties and the new stationary material – with exclusive materials to the area of Events – in the following fairs: Aviestur and Avirrp, at the Resorts Brazil booth, Espaço Business Show and Abav Fair. “The travel agents, events organizers and tour operators will get acquainted to a new resort with many novelties for leisure and corporate activities”, said Priscila. “Still this month, probably at Aviestur (on 24 and 25), we will launch our Christmas and New Years Eve fees”, Nantes informed.
