The Top of Brazil
The American magazine Golf Digest has disclosed the list of the 10 top golf courses in Brazil. The first ranked was Sao Fernando Golf Club (SFGC) in Cotia (state of Sao Paulo) which is the leader again after four years. Top of Brazil in the recent 2-year evaluation of the main courses in the world, the SFGC hosts important national and international championships. From 10 to 16 August 2009, it will host the South-American Match Play Championship. The tournament will be held for the very first time in Brazil.

Terravista – Bahia (3rd);
Damha – São Carlos (4th);
Comandatuba Island – Ocean – Bahia (5th).

Gávea - Rio de Janeiro (7th)
Alphaville Graciosa – Curitiba (8th);
Quinta da Baroneza – Bragança Paulista (9th);
