FEBRAGOLFE DISCLOSES THE 2009 EDITION DATES
Febragolfe second edition will take place on November 12, 13 and 14. Once again, the event will be held at Transamérica Expo Center, in Sao Paulo. The exhibition is a direct result of the Brazilian Formula 1 pilot - Rubens Barrichello – involvement with golf. And that is why he will once again host the event, which is organized through Barrichello Sports Company.
About 50% of the exhibitors who participated in the latest edition, additionally to new participants, have already confirmed their participation in the 2009 edition. In the first edition (2008) the event achieved expressive figures, mainly regarding the amount traded which was over R$ 1 million – an achievement enthusiastically celebrated by the organizers.
“We are very happy and amazed with the volume of sales reached. And that encourages us to keep on holding Febragolfe, because I do believe that golf market has hugely developed in Brazil, and the fair is evidence of that”, said Christian Bartz, director of Barrichello Sports and one of the event’s organizers.
According to Bartz, one of the high spots was the audience which reached 3,500 visitors in the 3-day exhibition. “The sales of golf karts, simulators and equipment were expressive. Audience was another differential in Febragolfe. Now we should improve it even more, but I am absolutely sure that Febragolfe came to stay.”
