A tourist compound that has been totally designed to achieve perfect integration between luxury and comfort and many natural wonders, the Costa do Sauípe is one of the best structured private tourist compounds in Brazil.
It is located by the seashore, with six pleasant lodges and five large high-leveled hotels, run by international Hotel chains.
Known by its exuberant nature, the Costa do Sauípe is located in an Area of Environmental Protection (APA, Área de Proteção Ambiental, in Portuguese). To allow tourists to know the natural wonders of the place, there are regular ecological rides by the woods, rivers, and beaches.
In Sauípe, the Vila Nova da Praia is an attraction in itself. Its architecture reproduces the typical villages found in the state of Bahia, mainly in the facades of its houses, stores, and restaurants. There, there are music shows, dances, exhibits of plastic arts and craft workshops every day, making it possible to learn more about the folklore and the arts of the state of Bahia.
