Beautiful Comandatuba Island keeps a wealth of Brazilian fauna and flora throughout its stretch. The tours allow nice moments for being in touch with the well preserved Nature in this paradise. There is only one hotel in the island. It is the only Brazilian resort featured on the exclusive list of “The Leading Hotels of The World”, with excellent accommodation and restaurant options.
How to get there
Fluvial: Access by boat through Comandatuba Village. The hotel arranges the guests crossing. In case you wish to visit the beach in the Island, you must hire a private boat to get there.
By Road: From Ilhéus, follow highway BA-001.
By Air: There is an airport belonging to the hotel, near the site.

Tours
At the tours, guided by qualified staff, guests get information on the amazing local ecosystem. There are some unmissable tours, such as the walk through the suspension bridges at the Una Ecologic Park and the Lama Negra Safari. Don’t miss the marsh, the Dona Vida farm, and a bit more about baiana culture in the cities of Ilhéus and Canavieiras, with their old mansions.

Golf Course
Built between the ocean and the marsh, inaugurated in July 2000, the Comandatuba Island Ocean Course is one of the main and better kept golf resorts in the Country. Ocean Course has 18 holes and four difficulty levels, defined by the “tees” (exits from each hole), three for men: distance varies between 5,712 and 6,928 yards, which makes it suitable for professionals and accessible for those new to the sport. Visit the Comandatuba Ocean Course on a motorised car, learning more about the sport in a beautiful landscape.

Rafting
At Aliança river, next to the city of Una, on a double vessel conducted by professionals.

Una Ecopark
Tour monitored by biologists on an Atlantic Forest reserve. Walk and visit to the 22 meters high runway at the top of the trees.
