The imposing Abade Waterfall is located 17 km away from the city of Pirenópolis, in Goiás. The 22 m-high waterfall is one of the highest in the region, very popular among rappelling aficionados. The waterfall forms a large pool of green and cold waters surrounded by native forest. But don’t worry. You get used to the cold water real quick!

After arriving, visitors can choose from two trails: the first one (Waterfall Trail) is fully paved for 400 m and leads to the Abade and a fault known as Canyon.

The other trail (Valley Trail) stretches for 2.4 km and leads to an incredible lookout point and four different waterfalls. A 50-m suspension bridge is perfect for the adventurous types and picture frames.

There is a reasonably large range of sand at the banks of the pool, where visitors can relax and sunbathe. The property offers proper support, with an information desk, brochures, restaurant, restrooms, and resting area.
