One of the most striking features of the beaches of Arraial do Cabo, Rio de Janeiro, is the crystal clear sea. That’s why they are highly sought after by those who enjoy scuba diving, and Forno Beach is included in that circuit. It is small (about 500 m) and located in a cove, which makes the beach a secluded haven.

The white sand and clear sea share space with sandbar vegetation and the reef. The preserved nature is the major attraction of the beach, particularly visited by families and couples.

On the site, there are several kiosks with tables and chairs available, as well as kayak, SUP boards and snorkel rental. The Beach also has a floating restaurant specializing in seafood.

The sea is calm, with few low waves. Of all the beaches of Arraial, this is the one with the most pleasant water temperature, as the others are cooler.

Off-season, it is a great beach to go for a walk with the family, relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset at the end of the day.
