Ibiraquera Lake, in Imbituba, has very calm and clear waters, which are exceptional for the practice of sailing sports, such as kitesurfing and windsurfing, as well as other sports such as canoeing and jet skiing. Between the months of December and March, it is possible to rent equipment such as kayaks and Stand Up Paddle boards (SUP).
The calm waters of the lake are a perfect invitation for children. In the peak season, there are floats for rent – fun for the kids and tranquility for the adults. If you like surfing, the sea is nearby and offers good waves.
There are good restaurants nearby, in addition to various options of hostels and small houses for season rent.
Be sure to try the dishes made with pink shrimp, a crustacean found in large amounts in the lake.
