You must climb a track to Piúva Hill, on the way to Serra Bodoquena to go to Rio Formoso Ecological Park, 8 km from the city of Bonito, state of Mato Grosso do Sul.
The park has a stunning landscape and its exuberant flora attracts birds and wild animals. From its lake with limestone formation germinates millions of bubble from a waterfall with approximately 5.5 meters depth.
One of the main local attraction is the Formoso River floating. You can dive among the shoals, algae and submerged logs which keep you in contact with several fishes such as brycon microlepis and ray-finned fish.
At the end of the tour, you can have a nice meal at the local restaurant that offers delicious food with homemade desserts. The park also offers horseback riding in addition to boia-cross, a practice of light descending in large circular float.
Children must be accompanied by parents or guardians.
