Rio de Janeiro is one big outdoors gym with breathtaking geography and landscapes. Considered the largest urban rock climbing center in the world, the city has several mountains and hills for all levels of climbing difficulties and stunning views.

Located in the Tijuca National Park, Pedra Bonita is one of these options, where visitors can not only hike or climb, but also fly away and see one of the best shots of Rio: from the sky.

The trail to the top is easy and starts with a rustic pavement, passing through open areas with beautiful sceneries. For climbing aficionados, Pedra Bonita has nine routes up to 155-meters high.

Those not interested in trekking through the trail can stay at the ramp and take double flights with pilots certified by the Brazilian Free Flight Association (CBVL). The trip offers a 20-minute panoramic view of São Conrado and the coastline, landing at the Pepino Beach.
