Praia Mole, in Florianópolis, is synonymous with hype, young people and sports. Practicers of paragliding enjoy the slopes, and surfers, the intense waves, characteristic of this part of the sea.

The Beach is not very recommended for children due to the strong waves, but it has one of the most complete and well equipped lifeguard posts of the entire island.

The coast has options of stores and bars that you can enjoy until nighttime. The cosmopolitan atmosphere of Floripa is also reflected in the menu of the bars, with several options of drinks and even the delicious açaí berry (tasty fruit typical of tropical regions), which may be enjoyed on the sand (the so-called “pé na areia”).

A must-see attraction of Praia Mole is Mirante da Vista, which offers a spectacular view of the Lake. The edge of the beach, just before Galheta (naturist beach), is a point for the LGBT crowd, which gather there mostly in the Summer.

Praia Mole also has archaeological remains such as geometric signs on the rocks.
