The State Park of Serra do Aracá is part of the municipality of Barcelos, about 400 kilometers from Manaus, capital of the State of Amazonas. Located between the Branco and Negro rivers, the Park houses a unique biodiversity and has mountains that reach up to 1,700 m in altitude.

The reserve encompasses a chain of shields located on the extreme north of Brazil. They are called tepuís, rock formations that look like a table of over 1,000 m in height. One of its representatives is the mystic Roraima Mountain.

Within the perimeter of the Park, Serra do Aracá appears as a large table in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest. One of the attractions is the Eldorado Waterfall. Located right in the middle of a narrow valley, the course of water falls from the incredible height of 360 m. To visit the waterfall, it is necessary to organize an expedition.

The region is quite desert. It is necessary to bring tools and camping supplies, since there is no hosting infrastructure on the place.
