Located exactly in the middle of the beach of Praia do Rosa (hence its name), in Imbituba, the Lagoa do Meio is very frequented by families and couples due to the tranquility of its waters and temperatures slightly warmer than the sea.
Surrounded by the green of the Atlantic Forest, its waters are excellent for swimming or sliding on its mirror on top of a Stand Up Paddle board (SUP) or of a kayak (both can be rented on the local). A trail surrounds almost the whole place, offering a great option for hiking, which is one of the best ways to know the beauties around.
The depth of the lake varies over the months, it can almost encounter the sea in the flood season. Twice a year, the Lake finally has this encounter, when it is possible to observe the movement of fish between the two environments.
