A visit to the Manaus Port Architectural Complex brings visitors back to the golden age of the Rubber Cycle, marked by elegance and sophistication. Known by its immense prosperity, buildings were constructed with classy materials, in art-nouveau and neoclassical styles that still stand out among the current architecture.

Listed as a National Historical Heritage in 1987, the Complex houses several buildings: the São Vicente Island building, Central Office, Port Museum, Legislative Assembly building annex, and the former Public Treasury building.

The Customs and Guardamoria buildings, the 15 de Novembro Dock Warehouse, bridges and wharfs are also part of the complex.

The Manaus Port serves the Brazilian states of Amazonas, Pará, Roraima, Rondônia, and Acre, as well as some areas in Northern Mato Grosso. It is one of the largest river ports in Brasil, the largest port in the Amazon region, and the third largest exporting port in the country.
