The construction of the Stone House Museum, in Caxias do Sul, dates from the 19th century, when the first families of Italian immigrants arrived in the southern region of Brazil.
Outside, the picturesque appearance of the house impresses: rocks settled and grouted with clay form the walls of both floors.
