The main attraction of the Iguaçu National Park is the 275 waterfalls existed for 150 million years are part of the impressive landscape of Iguazu Falls (strong water in Tupi-Guarani language).

Located 17 km from the city of Foz do Iguaçu, state of Paraná, it borders with Argentina and Paraguay. The park is listed as Natural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO and the waterfalls were selected as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

You can see about 2,000 species of plant which protects flora and fauna threatened species such as jaguar and araucaria (know as Brazilian pine). You can enjoy the beauty of the place with a nice walk, bike ride, boat trip or even a helicopter ride.

Over 1,700 km² of area, you can choose for several tours such as nice trails that you can experience the nature, radical adventures for ecotourism lovers or a lunch overlooking the splendid waterfall.

You can rent a car to go to the park. The main route is by BR-277 Road. If you are in Paraguay, just take the Route 7 road. Or, if you are in Argentina, take the Ruta Nacional 12 Road.

There is a bus that leaves downtown to the park. Bus line: 120 - Parque National. Please check the bus schedule.

Foz do Iguaçu International Airport is 5 km from the park.
