There are beaches in Brazil among the most beautiful on the planet. Every year, tourists from all over the world seek to visit them. Some landscapes are celestial, with blue water and white sand. Brazil’s huge coast comprises some regions of the country, providing them beaches with unique characteristics. From the Northeast to the South, the options are almost endless, which makes the Country one of the most sought-after locations in the world when it comes to this subject.

Baía do Sancho, in the archipelago ofFernando de Noronha, in the State of Pernambuco, was elected for the second consecutive time the best beach in the world by users of the website TripAdvisor. Isolated, it is covered by native vegetation and enables vessels to stop for swimming, with no damage to the reef. Tourists need to be attentive to sea turtles spawning season (from January to June), when visiting is prohibited between 06:00 pm and 6:00 am.

Considered one of the most beautiful in Brazil, Praia de Lopes Mendes is on the ocean side of Ilha Grande, in the municipality of Angra dos Reis, in the State of Rio de Janeiro State. With roughly 3 km in length, it is characterized by its fine white sand and the shallow and transparent waters, displaying blue tones, in addition to being completely uninhabited. The marine fauna also attracts divers.

In the Northeast, Pipa beach is also an international reference. In the city of Tibau do Sul, it represents the main balneary of the south coast of the State of Rio Grande do Norte. 85 km from the capital, Natal, Pipa was a quiet fishing village until it was included in the circuit of surfers and tourists from all over the world. The name of the beach was granted by the Portuguese, who, in order to pass through the vicinity kite-shaped rocks (in Portugal, it would be something like a barrel of wine or olive oil).

The district of Trancoso is in Porto Seguro, on the coast of Bahia. It brings together 10 beautiful beaches: Curuípe, Espelho, Patimirim, Itapororoca, Itaquena, Praia dos Nativos, Praia dos Coqueiros, Rio da Barra, Rio Verde and Taipe. The strong tourist vocation of the city has contributed to the development of local handicrafts. Other beaches of Bahia which also arouse the interest of visitors are in the villages of Itacaré and Itaparica.

In the State of Santa Catarina, southern Brazil, the Guarda do Embaú is another natural paradise that is much sought after by visitors. It is located 46 km from the state capital, Florianópolis, more precisely in the municipality of Palhoça. To get access to the beaches, it is necessary to cross the Rio da Madre. In the bathhouse, there are approximately 400 residents, most of them artisans, fishermen and surfers.

Ubatuba, in the State of São Paulo, on the other hand, offering more than 100 beaches. The most famous are Maranduba, de Itamambuca, do Lázaro, da Enseada, do Perequê, Vermelha, Grande and Saco da Ribeira. Such city from the coastal area of the State of Sao Paulo also bear islands, like Couves and Anchieta.
